Wine lovers will have the chance to taste over 100 new wines from 18 of the region's small producers when the 2011 Barossa Small Winemakers Annual Tasting kicks off at Chateau Tanunda on Sunday 17 July 2011.
The Barossa Small Winemakers is a collective of small and independent producers whose wares offer a unique snapshot of the Barossa's sub-regions and the craftsmanship that goes into producing small batch wines. Often tricky to track down in mainstream channels, Sunday's event is a chance to discover labels such as Balthazar, Eperosa and jb Wines.
Head to the Chateau Tanunda (9 Basedow Road, Tanunda) between 11am and 5pm, pay your $25 entry and enjoy live entertainment, gourmet food and of course a taste (or 100).
